The presence of strange winged beings is probably as old as the human imagination. In the late Summer of 2011, reports of Mothman-like flying humanoids began to surface in the city of Chicago. After three brief sightings, there were no further accounts. Then unexpectedly in early 2017, a smattering of encounters emerged from different locations throughout the Chicago metro area; until the number reached near fifty sightings before the end of the Summer. Why Chicago? Why now? This book will examine the witness accounts and the investigators thought processes, as these incidents were brought to our attention. Well, there were a couple of, um, incidents where the, uh, where people got up and close to this thing. I g- I guess the most dramatic was the incident that occurred on, uh, the lakefr- or Lake Shore Drive.

Uh, this was a couple who were in Chicago. They were a- actually from DC. Uh, the woman's mother lived in Chicago. She lived in a condominium on the, uh, the Lake Shore.

And, uh, it was in the evening, and they were walking around the neighborhood, I guess around 9:30 or so. I forget the exact time.
