00:00:11.619 --> 00:00:21.239
After the night walk concluded at nine o'clock, we locked up, we went back in to clean, and we still had our volunteer with us. And, uh, he was such a sweet guy.
3
00:00:21.359 --> 00:00:33.219
He, you know, I was about 19 at the time, and I think he was maybe, you know, late 30s, maybe early 40s. And he was just, you know, a bigger guy. He's like, "Hey, I don't want to leave you two young girls alone.
4
00:00:33.259 --> 00:00:44.279
You know, like, I'll stay here with you." And we go, "Hey, thanks. You know, we really appreciate your help." And so we cleaned up, and by that time, it's about around 10 o'clock at night. Okay.
5
00:00:44.360 --> 00:00:55.299
And this forest, I mean, it is dark. It's like pitch black in there. There's like one little light that's near the entrance. So we're, you know, we're walking through and, you know, we're kind of used to it already.
6
00:00:55.319 --> 00:01:09.559
You know, we're used to seeing little animals scurry by, you know, possums, raccoons, coyotes, things like that. And so, you know, we're listening and seeing, you know, oh, are we hearing anything, whatnot.
7
00:01:09.580 --> 00:01:17.899
And so we started to kind of hear something as we're approaching the gate and we're like, oh, it's probably, you know, an animal or something. And so I unlocked the gate. I let us out.
